Airline Ticketing at ICSA

Kuwait's travel and aviation sector is one of the most active in the Gulf — and behind every flight booking, itinerary change, and fare calculation is a ticketing professional who knows how to use GDS systems. This course prepares you for exactly that role.

You will train on Amadeus — the most widely used GDS platform in Kuwait and the Middle East — learning real reservation procedures, fare rules, and ticketing workflows used by airlines and travel agencies every single day. This is not theory; it is hands-on, industry-ready training.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any aviation knowledge before starting?
None at all. We begin with the absolute basics — how the airline industry works, what an IATA code is, and how a booking system operates. Students from all backgrounds complete this course successfully, including those with no prior travel industry knowledge.
Which GDS system do you teach?
We primarily teach Amadeus, which is the most widely used GDS platform across Kuwait and the Middle East. Airlines, travel agencies, and corporate travel desks in Kuwait use Amadeus daily. We also cover Galileo fundamentals so you understand the wider industry.
Why does this course run for 3 to 8 months?
The duration depends on your chosen pace. Full-time students who attend daily sessions typically complete the course in 3 months. Part-time students taking fewer sessions per week usually finish in 6 to 8 months. We build the schedule around you.
Can this course help me get a job at an airline?
Yes. This course is specifically designed to prepare you for roles at airlines, travel agencies, airport ground handling companies, and corporate travel departments. Many of our graduates are employed in the aviation sector across Kuwait and the Gulf.
Is an IATA certification included?
This course earns you an ICSA certificate, which is recognised by employers in Kuwait. For official IATA certification, there is a separate examination process administered by IATA globally. We can guide you through applying for IATA accreditation as a next step after graduation.
What certificate do I receive?
You receive an official ICSA Certificate in Airline Ticketing and Reservation upon successful completion. A minimum 75% attendance and passing the final GDS simulation assessment are required.
